Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
